Hi, those machines were upgraded to the latest ubuntu (11.10 oneiric)
and corresponding up to date distribution kernel in the 3.x branch. They
have been up for many months without an issue so I could say that
upgrading solves the issue although I cannot test it with that
configuration anymore.
