Ok. Looks like the "EXSAMPLES" bug is in a debian patch ('debian/patches
/local-manpages.patch')... this is what it says:

that's part of the patch (the whole patch is huge...). Maybe they were
thinking of saying "SAMPLES" instead of "EXAMPLES"? I'm not going to do
anything with this because I'm not sure which is right.
