I am trying to reinstall Lubuntu ( L) not (x) It was working at first, then I had trouble installing a DVD movie player that would allow me to play a DVD.
The MOVIE PLAYER wouldn't engage, sent me messages about installing decryption files, which I did. Then the MOVIE PLAYER would just hang, and wouldn't close, and I had to restart computer to force it to close. My desktop was otherwise functional. SO: I decided to reformat hard drive, and so another install of Lubuntu. It crashed while installing language packs, or thereabouts. I reported that bug. Today I tried to install again, same thing, it hangs just after language packs start to install.
