I have done a completely fresh install of Feisty on my laptop. (Compaq Presario
2100)
In keyboard preferences I set the keyboard model to "Laptop/notebook Compaq
(eg. Presario) Internet Keyboard"
On the layout options tab I set the "Alt/Win key behavior" to "Super is mapped
to the win-keys (default)"

If I go into Keyboard Shortcuts I can assign shortcuts based on the windows key.
For example Win+L to lock the screen and Win+T to open a terminal window.
They assign as Mod4+L and Mod4+T respectively.

If I hit Win+L, the screen doesn't lock. Nothing happens.
If I hit Win+T, I get a new terminal window.

Could a lot of people in this thread be talking about a similar issue. Trying
to get Win+L to lock their screen?
What would cause the keyboard shortcuts to work for everything else, but not
locking the screen?
