Here are some basic information about my system. I would like to know what's the best thing to do when I reboot RIGHT AFTER encountering the problem.
** Attachment added: "output: uname -a, dmesg, lspci -vnn" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/7930921/report.txt ** Summary changed: - ntermittent hangs - white screen only + intermittent hangs - white screen only ** Description changed: I have intermittent problems with Ubuntu hanging while I'm doing work on my computer. There are no prior indicators that the system would hang, all I would get is a white screen. I cannot kill the X window using CTRL+ALT+backspace. The keyboard is dead and all I can do is a hard reset. I've been using this computer on 64-bit Dapper and did not experience this problem. + + This is a model S270 laptop from MSI. -- intermittent hangs - white screen only https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/118453 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
