I think this bug is swatted, at least I got sound working now. It is not easy to do something, when everytime i have web and mail going and try to open alsamixer in a terminal, it freezes or chrashes, 512 MB is not much when all the debuginfo is loaded, I am running this from a 32GB grade 10 SD-card with 4 extra 128 MB swappartitions and now when only Firefox and a terminal window is running I got this.
~$ cat /proc/swaps Filename Type Size Used Priority /dev/mmcblk1p5 partition 130044 13720 4 /dev/mmcblk1p6 partition 130044 13760 4 /dev/mmcblk1p7 partition 130044 13984 4 /dev/mmcblk1p8 partition 130044 14172 4 /dev/zram0 partition 111476 111476 5 /dev/zram1 partition 111476 111476 5 And it is sometimes freezes for 20 sec. or more writing this. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/957773 Title: indicator-sound-service crashed with SIGSEGV in free() To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/indicator-sound/+bug/957773/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
