Public bug reported: I was upgrading a bunch of packages, including firefox, when it reported "Unknown error, please report a bug". The details told me that /usr/lib/firefox/firefox-10.0.2 (or thereabouts) failed to start because firefox was already in use.
Mostly, I'm reporting a bug because it asked me to; if firefox can't be upgraded while it's running, it might be nice to give a nicer warning message. ** Affects: apper (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/958609 Title: failed to launch while firefox is in use To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/apper/+bug/958609/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
