This is a gnome-cups-manager issue, rejecting cupsys task.
Printing options set in System -> Administration -> Printing
(gnome-cups-manager) are stored in ~/.cups/lpoptions, but these options are
only used by the lp and lpr commands and by libgnomeprint based applications
like gedit.
g-c-m should set its printing options in /etc/cups/ppd/<printer>.ppd by making
use of the CUPS API.
But g-c-m is not maintained upstream anymore and will be replaced in gutsy.
