An update.  I ran nautilus for two days without a problem.  I did not 
use bst.linux the program that fails.  I suspect that bst.linux 'leaks' 
and corrupts other programs does that make sense to you? I understand 
that bst was written and compile in Delphi. The last and I suspect final 
update to bst was March 2010.
Probably should close this item as resolved.
