sorry for my late answer, I just got my laptop back after 2 months.
I installed your package (2012-02-03) and blacklisted acer-wmi. After a reboot,
I do not notice anything particularly, Wifi works out-of-the-box... :-)
dmesg output is attached. Please let me know if I can do anything else. I try
to do it quickly.
