Brian, After testing other options including the latest Ubuntu kernel, I believe that the loss of one of the two memory slots in the T22 is the source of the problem. I cannot be sure, but this seems to be the most likely explanation. I can only get the T22 to recognize memory in one of the two slots on the unit. No matter what memory card is inserted (assuming that it is one designed for use in the T22), only a card install in the one slot will work. This is the reason that I use Xubuntu. I was using Ubuntu until the loss of the memory slot. Needless to say the cost to replace the components necessary to fix this problem is not worth it.
