I have made it work again now, but it took a lot of time in front of the computer. In tried to reboot, but that didn't work so I tried to look in 'internet options', but it wasn't that either. But then at last I've found out that it was the firewall which it apparently had interrupted with. I am using Trend micro internet security through another client. I made it work again by reinstalling Trend micro. Anyway thanks.
