The crypttab line for my encrypted root is as follows: cryptroot /dev/mapper/VG01-crypted--root none cipher=aes-cbc-plain,size=0,hash=ripemd160 I did not use luks (when I created the encrypted root, I was not aware of luks, and then it was too late to change). I was not aware of the lvm= option, is this luks-specific?
I will try again with the latest feisty packages later.
