I've tested the Live DVD "Sabayon_Linux_8_amd64_G.iso" and I get the same behaivor as comment #5.
Is this a kernel problem or an Intel video driver problem? Anyone out there with similar architecture / features has the system working without issues? Any other thing I can do to help solve this out?
