  Now that synaptic is gone from ubuntu, we need a more accessible way to
  manage updates. Thus some important synaptic features need to be brought

  A) Sorting
  Sorting was a very important accessibility feature in synaptic and  is also 
available in almost every other major OS ranging from mint update, Mac Os 
updater to Windows Update, etc.
