I tried to submit these bugs directly through your website. The bug
submission assistant does not work. Looks like I get the "wristwatch"
cursor on mouse over. Browser is google chromium.
I hate evolution but am too stupid to successfully install Thunderbird.
I'll next report the following two bugs: 1) evolution often crashes when
I use the Contacts. Of course, the report won't be too useful because
when I run evolution under gdb I cannot duplicate the problem.
(therefor the problem could be some sort of timing issue?) and 2) the
evolution directory structure is all screwed up ever since installing
the autumn 2011 ubuntu release. I think that is canonical's fault, not
the evolution team. The symptom is that every time I send a message
evolution can't find the "sent box" and sticks the message somewhere
else. And 3 of 2) I use a laptop computer, as you can tell from the
extra data. Every time I wake the computer evolution reports "HORROR
HORROR HORROR I CANNOT CONNECT TO THE INTERNET". The cause: evolution
is so pushy about updating mail that it cannot wait for the wireless to
do its job and connect to the internet. You CAN fix or reduce this by
checking that if the update interval is exceeded by a half hour or more
then wait an extra minute. I hate evolution.
