Can you help us to test the latest mainline kernel to verify whether it's already fixed in upstream? You can do that by following these steps:
1. Install 12.04 daily build or beta 2. Download the latest mainline kernel packages from http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/, by the time of this writing, the latest is v3.3-rc6 (http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.3-rc6-precise/), remember to choose the correct kernel flavour (i386, i386-pae or amd64) 3. Install them by running 'sudo dpkg -i <downloaded packages>' 4. Reboot and test VGA output Thanks! -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/943263 Title: PC display will not turn on with Llano APUs connected to the VGA port To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/943263/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
