I completely agree with Robert Cole and I am sad to see that this bug is still not resolved in 12.04 Beta 1.
I would like to emphasize the importance of fixing this bug. It makes it IMPOSSIBLE for visually impaIred persons (like me) to use the ubuntu desktop and it will force me (and people with similar disabilities) to move to a different OS. The well integrated compiz enhanced zoom desktop feature is one of the main reasons why i started to use ubuntu as my primary desktop and why I normally recommend it to people with similar disabilities. It makes me frustrated to see that Apple is the only company who seems to prioritize this type of functionality on both desktops and mobile devices. Please please prioritize fixing this bug and keep up the good work with creating the best Linux experience ever! -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/781529 Title: Assistive Technology Magnifiers unusable with Unity To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity/+bug/781529/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
