The Asus UX31-DH72 has a wired adapter ASIZ AX88772B USB2 to Fast Ethernet Aapder and the Atheros AR9485WB-EG Wireless Notebook Adapter. Ubuntu Desktop 11.10 didn't detect either. I went to Bestbuy, borrowed a DLink Wirless N wireless adapter and it works. So sound like I may have to purchase an external one just to get it going.
