@Rafael At least, if you can have something usable, it's not a problem for the short-term if it's not pretty. The last commit in lubuntu-artwork branch already contain a workaround for some black background, but it doesn't fix all backgrounds (like, the lsc one which is white, or the banner of the installer, still black).
