Actuallly it's because we load
http://www.mozilla.org/projects/%APP%/%VERSION%/whatsnew/, there's no
need to sniff.

I think you're misunderstanding the patch. Milestone.pm exposes
$major.$minor.$mini.$micro and this patch takes $major.$minor and strips
of any alpha/beta indicators. That's unless I'm missing something...
