(In reply to Dão Gottwald [:dao] from comment #103) > I get "Thank you for trying a nightly build and helping improve future > versions of Firefox" here > (http://www.mozilla.org/projects/firefox/prerelease.html). Might be because > they sniff the Firefox token.
Actuallly it's because we load http://www.mozilla.org/projects/%APP%/%VERSION%/whatsnew/, there's no need to sniff. (In reply to Justin Dolske [:Dolske] from comment #104) > Specifically, the previous history of this bug was more about exposing a > version number like "rv:3" or "rv:3.6" instead of "rv:3.6.20". Now we're > just dropping any trailing, say, "a2", "b1", or "pre3". So now "rv:13.0a1" > becomes "rv:13.0" and "rv:13.0.9pre42" becomes "rv:13.0.9" (which is largely > moot, we don't make builds like that). I think you're misunderstanding the patch. Milestone.pm exposes $major.$minor.$mini.$micro and this patch takes $major.$minor and strips of any alpha/beta indicators.
