uname -a : Linux kv-HP-ProBook-4535s 3.3.0-030300rc3-generic-pae #201202082335 SMP Thu Feb 9 04:51:27 UTC 2012 i686 athlon i386 GNU/Linux 1. In this version the bug is fixed. No black screen during cryptsetup and login screen as with 3.0.0-16 2. No additional workaround (fn + F4) required as with 3.0.0.15 (Bug #919350) 3. Using Gnome Shell now in the Monitors-configuration is just shown ONE monitor. With kernel 3.0.0-15 and earlier there where 2 monitors (one of them not existing). The problem was, that the not existing monitor was switched on after login and that has to be changed with fn + F4. Maybe a consequence of the ATI dual graphics concept?? I also made a blind test: After verification that v.3.3 works: Shutdown and using kernel 3.0.0-16: Black screen again.
