Marking as Invalid, as bug status in upstream was set to WONTFIX:
Unfortunately this is how GtkTextView works, so there is little that gedit can
do.

GtkTextView internal data structure makes some trade offs that improve things
for "normal" files at the expense of the very-long-line corner case.
