That error message helps indeed. It lets us know that the locale definition file /usr/share/i18n/locales/it_CH is missing. You should be able to get it and have the it_CH.UTF-8 locale generated by running this command:
sudo apt-get --reinstall install locales After that you should be able to select it_CH on language-selector's "Regional formats" tab. So the still unanswered question is *how* the it_CH locale definition file was removed. If you can think of anything you did that might explain it, please let us know. Otherwise I guess we'd better wait and see if other users encounter the same problem. ** Changed in: language-selector (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => In Progress -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/930599 Title: There is no regional formats for italian language in the Language selector To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/language-selector/+bug/930599/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
