Public bug reported:

Recently after compiling and using the new Linux kernel 3.2.5 on my
Ubuntu system, I have noticed that the boot process takes longer than
usual. Same is the case with logging into gnome-shell. Sometimes after
logging into the gnome-shell, the desktop does not appear.soon after
that if I do a dmesg, I can find the following error:

[ 61.800760] gnome-shell[1987]: segfault at 3 ip 00007f6f6918cab2 sp
00007fffd79568b0 error 4 in libfreetype.so.6.6.2[7f6f6913d000+92000]
