Hello David, thanks for the interest! This is a known and fixed bug, you can
solve it by simply running the command
'mkdir -p ~/.config/autostart'
and the retry setting your preference, as I also stated in this thread over
here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1862608
