** Description changed: Binary package hint: compiz When I activate Scale, my windows scale and the background fades. However, the windows finish scaling well before the background finishes fading. They should finish at the same time, for a tighter feel. Note: I am using version 1:0.8.3+git20091005-0ubuntu5 (karmic) The behavior is the same in Ubuntu Jaunty. My "speed" for the scale plugin is set to 2.000 via the CCSM. There is a checkbox available for "Darken Background", but no option to set the speed for darkening the background (this shouldn't be needed anyway, since the two speeds should be the same).
