Sorry for not paying much attention to the bug lately... I do want to make sure you are aware that the issue is not fixed in the latest Ubuntu Precise daily build with Kernel 3.2. I just tested the live USB key on a desktop Llano running a Gigabyte GA-75M-UD2H motherboard and an A6 APU. Same thing, DVI works, VGA does not...
