Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager

I get a tooltip reporting my batteries are charged, and the power icon
briefly changes to indicate AC power is plugged in when I insert or
remove my second battery (in a Dell Inspiron 510m). I also get a 100%
charge notification on bootup if the 2nd battery is in.

In the attached screenshot of the power history graph: The two dips to
60% were me removing the primary battery (secondary was at 60%, primary
was around 90%, anywhere around 75% is where both batteries were in).
The 90% peaks are the secondary battery being removed. Each
removal/insertion prompted a full charge notification and a switch to
being "on AC power" with full charge.

Basically it feels like whenever the second battery's state changes, it
gets confused and thinks the computer is connected to AC power and has
full charge. It's not a crippling bug, it's just annoying and weird.

** Affects: gnome-power-manager (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
