Public bug reported:

Launch Empathy after adding an account > Click 'Available' > Select
'(Away symbol) Custom message...' > Type your message > Click  the drop
down arrow > select 'Edit Custom messages...'

Then, I just get a blank window, no custom messages are there.

Also, I notice that when a new notification happens, the empathy tray
icon blinks. When that happens, an 'icon missing' symbol appears. (in
the Cinnamon panel)
