Okay, managed to find and copy A2Dfw.usb to ../gt68xx/ and set the permissions.
Works with "Simple Scan" and "XSane Image Scanning" (although grinds on the way back from successful scan) but hangs with gscan2pdf and forever "warming up" on colour @ 600 resolution - debug show 0.1% warming up increments on 600 resolution. Can get it to work on gscan2pdf as long as on low resolution, lineart or greyscale. Again, scanner "grinds" on return but seems to scan smoothly. Operates as Mustek BearPaw 2400TA Plus scanner ** Attachment added: "Contains colour scan from "Simple Scan" and grey scan from "gscan2pdf".
