Public bug reported:

Open synaptic, choose some package(s) to install than pick any package that wil
"break" something but cancel just that selection right away.
When slecting to install, an entry of "NOT AUTHENTICATED" packages filled with
many empty lines appears and won't allow install bringing you back to the
mainsynaptic screen. Selecting install the second time does work.

Has been there for some time, but I thought somebody would've noticed
this. Not critical/iimportant by anymeans as the second iteration
works.

** Affects: synaptic (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
