Hi, I'm experiencing the same issue with latest update of 12.04. STEPS:
1. Launch AMD Catalyst control center (admin mode) from Dash 2. Change resolution and click "Apply" OBSERVED RESULT: New resolution is set but Catalyst Control Center closes immediately. There is no crash report. EXPECTED RESULT New resolution is set and Catalyst Control Center remains open When I start the control center via the terminal with "sudo amdcccle" I do not have this behaviour and the window remains open.
