Hi Michael,

It was my mistake, I actually didn't know how sudo works at that time.
I thought the password of the first user that installed ubuntu should
be used everywhere (being logged on as 'julie', I tried using the
password for 'ber' when using the sudo command).

Perhaps this is an idea for an introductory screen showing up the
first time ubuntu is booted after installation... I'm not aware if
this already exists, I'm still using ubuntu 6.06 and I have to admit I
usually don't even read those screens :-).
