Ok, this is actually a bug or a feature in the acpi events scripts. (at least on the vm i was trying to reproduce on).
/etc/acpi/powerbtn.sh exits doing nothing if gnome-settings-daemon is running. If I kill gnome-settings-daemon in the guest, then quickly do 'virsh shutdown <guest>', the guest shuts down cleanly. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/228690 Title: virt-manager can't stop VM To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/virt-manager/+bug/228690/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
