I had the same problem with several Linux distributions (*Ubuntu, Fedora, Debian, Suse, Mint, and many more, yes I've installed them all in the last months) but now I solved this problem in Arch Linux by editing:
/usr/lib/pm-utils/defaults: # HIBERNATE_MODE="shutdown" HIBERNATE_MODE="shutdown" Just uncommented this line. Don't know if it works in other cases. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/774707 Title: Does not power off after hibernation To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/774707/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
