Possibly related: blacklisting wlan driver r8192e_pci does not work for me. 'blacklist r8192e_pci' is in both /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf and /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-wifi.conf, but after a reboot, it is still loaded (checked with 'lsmod | grep 8192')
