* Is this reproducible?
Should be.

* If so, what specific steps should we take to recreate this bug?

1-Hit your Messaging Menu in Ubuntu 11.10;

2-Choose "Chat" to open Empathy. The current status is "Offline";

3-Change your status to "Hidden". Empathy starts to load your account(s)
(i have two accounts configured). Even during loading, Empathy changes
the status to "Busy" although anyone has asked for that;

4-Change that to "Hidden" again; It is changed back to hidden;

5-Now, suspend you laptop|computer using top-right-most menu or closing
your laptop's lid;

6-Wait it to be really suspended;

7-Now, wake-up your laptop. The internet connection will be activated
again. Just after that, Empathy starts to load again. But, it is loaded
in "BUSY" state, not "hidden" as it was left.

It is very annoying.

Hope you can do a good work to fix that.
Thank you.
