** Description changed:

  I run Ubuntu 11.10 32-bit from LiveCD on Clevo D4J (model), D410J
(product code) and run "System Testing". I configured the PPPoE
connection. After this I run the networking tests and I get the
  following report:

- networking/detect PASSED
- networking/internet FAILED No Internet connection
+  networking/detect PASSED
+  networking/internet FAILED No Internet connection

The report for networking/internet is a false negative. I have working
  internet connection:

- root@ubuntu:~# /sbin/ifconfig
