Some more investigations on that - swi-prolog-semweb should be dependent on swi-prolog-sgml, which has the rdf.pl library. However, the latter is not in the Ubuntu repository for some reason. It is available in Debian Lenny: http://packages.debian.org/lenny/swi-prolog-sgml
