mmm.. maybe the last comment is not true, i was installing a lot of things, one of them was the last ati driver from this repository: ppa:ubuntu-x-swat/x-updates maybe is for that and not for blender (i've tried to delete the last comment but it's not possible) natty 64- ati radeon hd- waltop slim tablet
