Weird thing happened. Gnome locked up on me so I forced my system to power down and started it again. Now the slider is working properly. I will comment again if I see an issue but seems ok now. I will say that this has been an issue since the first day I installed 12RC, I just never reported it. I may have received an update that resolved it and I didn't see the change until a reboot.
