I do indeed use gs-afpl. However, I can't not to: it's a workaround for another bug in gs-esp: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gs-esp/+bug/75894 OK, switching to gs-gpl worked: at least I can print now, thanks. You can close the bug (however, I think that, well, gs-afpl must be either fixed to work correctly or not included.
