I only misclick a menu item if the menu opens unintentionally. When I click to open a menu, I show my intention to open the menu. I'm going to try to be clearer. The app button's menu will probably appear on top of window items. If I go to click one of those window items, but hover the app button, since the menu appears on top of the window item that I was going to click, I misclick a menu item.
