To meet short term needs I've had to rearrange some hardware to work around this problem; I'll leave this issue as-is since I should in a couple of days have a chance to clone the drives so I can test the same software configuration with a mainline kernel on a similar hardware configuration under similar load.
Also, I haven't had any issues like this on the spare hardware that I'm using with the system, a Supermicro X7DCL-3 (Intel 5100 chipset) / single Xeon E5410 / 24GB RAM (far fewer logical processors!) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/899403 Title: Kernel Panic To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/899403/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
