I am facing exactly the same problem. There is a similar bug reported

I have the same motherboard intel D102GCC2. In my case even with
acpi=off it does not boot but I found out somewhere that if the USB in
the BIOS are disabled then it works and it actually did. However, with
USB disabled I can not access any USB devices and in my case I have an
USB mouse.

I am still using the old kernel from previous distribution. The problem
has not solved yet with the latest kernel (3.0.0.13).
