> There are the images with the terminal's output. Next time you post any logs, I suggest you don't provide screenshots but simple text files. You can mark and copy the content of a terminal window similar to any text window, just use the "Edit" menu for copying as the usual Ctrl-C shortcut will not work.
Looking at the device details, I am wondering how you came to the conclusion that "usb_modeswitch" might be involved with the problem you are seeing. This is not a device that is touched in any way by that package. Did you check the automatic mounts when you plug in a memory stick? The USB storage must be 'integrated' in the Linux file system before it is accessible. Check the folders "/mnt" and "/media" with the stick plugged - you may see your USB stick as a subfolder. Perhaps the file permissions for this storage folder is set in a wrong way? This would most likely be a problem with the udev rules and scripts. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/883606 Title: usb not authorized. i cant read it!
