Problem Description:
When I update hal on my laptop from version  0.5.8.1-4ubuntu12 to 
0.5.9-1ubuntu2~feisty1, the USB host controller on my system appears to 
constantly reset, according to the dmesg logs

My USB controller is an Intel 82801G (ICH7 Family)

The USB resets will continue until I either unload the usbhid module, or
until I revert back to the earlier version of the hal package
