Public bug reported: After upgrading on Dec. 2 to this kernel, the laptop experienced two unexpected core dumps, which didn't happen before (with linux- image-2.6.32-35-generic) nor after (with linux-image-2.6.38-13-generic), when I upgraded. Traces added below. System was idle, unattended, with the wi-fi adapter (which this concernes) unused (physically disabled, ethernet cable attached and in use), when I heard an abnormal beep both times.
