Public bug reported:

After upgrading on Dec. 2 to this kernel, the laptop experienced two
unexpected core dumps, which didn't happen before (with linux-
image-2.6.32-35-generic) nor after (with linux-image-2.6.38-13-generic),
when I upgraded. Traces added below. System was idle, unattended, with
the wi-fi adapter (which this concernes) unused (physically disabled,
ethernet cable attached and in use), when I heard an abnormal beep both
times.
