Yep, that's it. If I run it with:
LIBOVERLAY_SCROLLBAR=0 ./scroll 
... the scrollbar works as expected.

So other than launching an application with LIBOVERLAY_SCROLLBAR=0 is
there anyway I can do that? like some sort of blacklist for the
scrollbars?
